computer lessons.

Don’t you just hate it when you parents ask you to teach them how to use the computer?? I know it is selfish of me to think that, but I know a lot of people have the same (or at least similar) opinions.

You should be VERY GRATEFUL if your mum or dad knows how to use the computer, even if they hog it. You should also be grateful if they want nothing to do with the computer.  ~Anything is better than teaching them to use it. They don’t know when or when not to use the buttons on the right or left of the mouse. Then you start to get frustrated, you try to keep your cool, but in the end it’s just too much and you start screaming at them, shrieking either of these things (or similar):

  1. Learn it yourself!!!
  2. Didn’t I tell you that before?? (they look at you confusedly, or *light bulb lights up*)
  3. Ask someone else!!!! AHHH!!!

Unless it’s just me that has that problem.

That’s all for now.

just another regular sunday

My Sundays are pretty much filled up with one thing:

TUTOR. *screams*

I guess it does help me because I’m so stupid and all, but why!??!!? For instance, today I had to wake up at about eight. Even though my science tutoring starts off at nine, I was dropped off by my parents at 8:45am- when the place wasn’t even opened yet (my mum needed to be somewhere by nine). Don’t worry, my parents aren’t that evil; at least they waited until it opened (a.k.a. when the owners came) until they sped off. When I went inside, no one was there- obviously. 10 minutes later, my science teacher came. Then it took five more minutes until the next student arrived, nine on the dot. You can see that the teacher must be pretty laidback about punctuality.

Two hours later, I went home again and enjoyed my rest for three hours, eating lunch, doing homework for the Maths tutor that I had next. Two hours at that tutor I also spent. So basically, four hours of this entire day was spent “learning”. I guess I did learn… but that doesn’t make the situation any better– in my eyes anyway.

-signing out for now-

I have to catch up on all the work I missed last week while doing work experience TT”

never-ending book wishlist…

Over the years, I have made up a list of books that I’ve always wanted to own. Some of them I have ended up buying, but most of them, not. Why do all these new books have to come out?? Can’t people just wait a while so that I can buy all the ones I want first?!?!! I am an impulsive buyer when it comes to books.

If you’re wondering what the list includes, I’ll put some down (in no order whatsoever):

  1. Anne of Green Gables
  2. Chinese Cinderella (both the books)
  3. Pride and Prejudice
  4. Looking for Alibrandi
  5. Little Women
  6. Charlotte’s Web
  7. Jane Eyre (I have a copy, but it’s waterlogged; although legible)
  8. Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland
  9. Wuthering Heights
  10. Twilight- although my sister has it, there’s nothing like having your own copy :]
  11. Eclipse (I have New Moon already)
  12. Breaking Dawn
  13. The Curious Incident of the dog in the night-time

and so many more… -sighs dreamily-

cousin dearest.

I always dread it when my cousin comes over, the five year old one I mean…and it happened to be that she chose today, SATURDAY my only free day to torture me with her excessive talking and random questions..

Examples

* “I show you my lipstick in my bag.”

** “It doesn’t hurt.” (when she was putting on her clip-on earrings) while her ears were completely red; it really didn’t hurt!?!?

&&the most common question of all

*** “What is that?”

OK, i was getting out this puzzle game out to distract her so I could continue writing and blogging. It didn’t really stop  the river of words gushing out of her mouth. *grr* First she asked me where I got it. I told her it was a present. Then she asked me “Did you get it from Santa?” I know that a perfectly normal question for a five year old to ask, but still- It just went on and on and on… until she finally went home.

And that is the pain I have to endure until she has actual realises how annoying she is- which may be NEVER!

I wish I could pretend to ignore her, but that would just be SLACK. Especially to an innocent little kid…unless she actually knows that she is torturing me.

things that I will never end up finishing

This is just a practice blog. I shall start my real and unanonymous one in the summer holidays (whoops, another clue). I have so many goals and currently am in the process of fufilling a few. So far I am in the process of:

* starting a blog

** writing a story

*** learning a piano piece(stopped about 2wks ago though)

Too much blogging today already -signing out-

work experience

Today was my last day of work experience, and thank goodness. It was getting so boring that I continued working on a creative writing piece I was doing at home- a not very short short story- while waiting for more work to do.

Anyway, while I am on the topic of work experience, may I say that it is actually useful even if it’s a pain in the butt. I thought that I would actually like working in an office but “ughh” the work was so repetitive and monotonous- I don’t know how those people do it!! I bow down to you people who go to work everyday in an office (stop reading around about here, people) just: punching in numbers “into the system”, faxing stuff, doing invoices and dockets, account payables, account receivables, and trying to figure out why the numbers aren’t equal.

It gives me a headache just thinking about it. Now I’m getting put off Maths and I really was just beginning to like it…

Skip this section if you’ve had enough of my blabbering about W.E. ** I really disliked how much school I had to miss for this worthless experience (i realise that i am contradicting myself; referring to the above). After school when we were picking up my sister, I sat helplessly in the car watching my friends walking out of school and wished I was there with them. I felt like I was watching from one of those time travel bubbles like in The Simpsons episode- I don’t watch The Simpsons actually, but I did see the ad for that one- and I couldn’t get out. I did have the choice, but it would be weird just to get out of the car and even just say hello. Some people did see me though and another certain individual freaked me out by walking up to window while I was gazing out of the window at nothing in particular, and she waved xD

Thankyou, very much appreciated. Seriously =)

HEYY.. this is a long blog- well for me, anyway.

My mum and dad are out for the night so i’m just randomly working on my story, blogging and trying to be bothered to catch up on school stuff i missed this week. there will be a heap to catch up on. I really want to get back to writing now.

P.S. Mcdonald’s had completely betrayed my trust tonight- they got the order wrong TT”  ~and i got pretty crappy food because my dad didn’t realise until he got home. What a Friday this was.. oh well, tomorrow is Saturday- I’m saved!

a new blog is born

This is my first post on my first blog ever so it’s a bit strange because i don’t really know what to write and it’s unusual writing to no one really since i’ve told no one about this. Basically, i set up this blog so that I can write as a random person and no one will ever know who I am, although eventually someone might find out because I am pretty hopeless at disguising things xD

Another thing; I’m hoping that by blogging, I will improve my writing skills, although actual writing would be more effective (i am doing that too). I feel so crap at this blogging thing… hopefully in time I’ll improve.

I know that some people may be put off by my rambling on about nonsense, but this isn’t really for anyone to read, so it doesn’t matter xD

Another thing, i really would like to see more yellow themes… and i would change my font colour on this post to yellow, but then anyone who saw this would be blinded. Well, it’s getting late and I’m off to my last day of work experience tomorrow TT”
